TestPerfect turns Jira and Azure user stories into acceptance criteria, generates manual and automated test cases, runs them in parallel on your own agent grid, and reports results back to your CI — all in one tool.
No credit card required · Free tier for solo developers
One platform · replaces five tools
Paste any Jira / Azure story. TestPerfect returns numbered, Given-When-Then acceptance criteria you can review, edit and approve in seconds.
“As a customer I want to apply a promo code at checkout so I can get a discount before paying.”
One release for hand-written manual cases and AI-generated Playwright steps. Run on a hosted agent, on your laptop, or in CI — every result lands in the same history.
Fill in project info, upload reference docs, click Generate. AI produces a 14-section enterprise Test Strategy and a release-level Test Plan — exportable as Markdown, HTML or Word.
Industry baseline: Banking · PCI DSS, Basel III, KYC/AML, SOX
Release-level dashboards: coverage, automation rate, defects by component, CI run analytics with daily sparkline and per-repo drill-down.
Click through your app once in a real, headed browser. TestPerfect captures every interaction and turns it into readable, editable test steps — no locator-writing required.
Paste a user story or description and TestPerfect generates a runnable test project in the framework and language your team already uses — ready to open in your editor or run in CI.
Spin up TestPerfect Agents anywhere — a laptop, a Docker container, a VM — and watch them pick up work in real time. Prefer to stay in your editor? The VS Code extension runs and syncs test cases without leaving your IDE.
No more switching between five tools to ship a feature.

Install an agent on your laptop, VM, or Docker container — your code never has to leave it.
Every generated test, step, and file is editable before it ever saves or executes.

The things most teams ask before they start.
Every generated test case, step, and code file is fully editable before you save or run it — nothing executes without a human reviewing it first. Treat AI output as a strong first draft, not a black box.
Free and Starter reset the cap every 24 hours. Pro adds a small per-1,000-generation overage instead of a hard stop, so you're not blocked mid-sprint.
Source code and test data are scoped to your release. Org admins can bring their own OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini key (encrypted at rest, tied to your account) so nothing routes through a shared key. See our Security page for detail.
Projects, releases, requirements, test cases and defects live in managed Postgres, reached over TLS, with the app itself served over HTTPS. Secrets — your AI provider keys, Jira API tokens and Azure DevOps PATs — are AES-256 encrypted by the app before they ever reach the database, so they are never stored in plain text. Test-run artefacts (screenshots, logs, videos) are written to the machine running the test and indexed against that execution in Postgres, so anything captured by a self-hosted agent stays on your infrastructure. Exported reports and documents are generated in your browser and downloaded straight to your machine — they are never stored on our servers. And for the everyday mistakes: deleted organizations, projects and test cases sit in Archive for 3 months so you can restore them yourself, and every test case keeps a full version history with compare and rollback.
Yes — install a TestPerfect Agent on your own laptop, VM, or Docker container (or use the VS Code extension) and tests execute entirely on your infrastructure; only results are reported back.
